Flownetix announces exciting new evolution of the 100 series flowmeter

Flownetix is pleased to announce the latest evolution of the 100 series low cost ultrasonic flowmeter. The 100 series flowmeter is a non-invasive, fully electronic flowmeter with no moving parts designed to offer improved reliability compared to low cost turbine meters.

After a year of development with input and feedback from customers, the Flownetix 125v2 is the first of a series of products based on an update of our core technology due to form the heart of a range of products to be introduced during 2005.

The Flownetix 125v2 offers a number of improvements compared to the previous 125 model including:

• improved flow performance, especially at low flows
• current consumption reduced from 80mA to 4mA (pulse output version)
• 5V version
• ultra low power option
• flexible output options including an open collector pulse/frequency output, 4-20mA version and RS485 bus output
• output scale selectable at time of order
• engineered for lower production cost giving a greatly reduced sale price, now cost competitive to mechanical meters in volume applications
• continuous performance self verification, correction and calibration
• improved wetted parts material now with FDA and EU approval for use on all foodstuffs

The Flownetix 125v2 can be ordered now for January delivery.
